ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಬಾಬಾ ಸಿದ್ದಿಕಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ (ಎನ್ಸಿಪಿ) ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ‘ಎಕ್ಸ್’ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸಿದ್ದಿಕಿ, ”ಯುವಕನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೆ. 48 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಪಕ್ಷ ತೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿ ತಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಎನ್ಸಿಪಿ ಸೇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
