ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನ ರಾಜ್‌ಕೋಟ್‌ನ ಗೇಮಿಂಗ್ ಝೋನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಭಾರೀ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಅವಘಡವೊಂದು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈವರೆಗೆ 20 ಜನರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈವರೆಗೆ 20 ಮಂದಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರ ಪೈಕಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರು ಗೇಮಿಂಗ್ ಝೋನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರ ವಿವರ ಇನ್ನೂ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹಲವು ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಧಾವಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಂದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಕಿ ಅವಘಡಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಾರಣ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಂದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಗಾಳಿಯ ವೇಗದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಂದರೆ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಎಎನ್ಐ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
